FENDERS is our second home - a light and comfortable 1960s bungalow in a truly special location, just a 200-yard walk from Totland Bay on the peaceful West Wight. The bays sandy beach, clear turquoise water and spectacular sunsets are comparable to the Med, whihc is why this stretch of coastline is hard to beat. When we’re not there, FENDERS is available to rent year-round through Wight Escapes, along with a local housekeeping and linen service, keeping everything in excellent condition for all of us.

The bungalow sleeps up to six people and can accommodate one well-behaved dog. It has been carefully updated, blending modern comforts with its original charm. On quiet evenings, you might still hear the distant ring of the 166-year-old Needles Lighthouse bell - a reminder of the area’s unique character.

Totland offers more than just the coast. There’s stunning countryside, walking and cycling trails, local farms and uninterrupted views over the Solent - all within easy reach. The combination of coast, countryside, and calm makes the location truly priceless.

West Wight is somewhere where you can breathe in the good air, make your own fun and choose how to make the most of every day. There is an abundance of things to do locally and around the island throughout the year for any ages, or there is simply nothing to do in a comfortable environment by the sea.​
